We’re Glad You Made It Here!

We believe, with every cell in our beings that any body can sing, that song is our birthright & highest form of prayer, and that the body is the doorway.

As we’ve explored this knowing, we’ve experimented in our own bodies, charting a path to help nurture & uncoil this inner wisdom in others. We present to you The Embodied Voice, a workshop series to share our road map thus far.

We hope you’ll join us and help chart some more territory along the way. We joyfully welcome you!

~ Jordan & Kalou

What is it?

This offering is a collaborative, creative endeavor emerging from our devoted friendship, experimental play within our practices, and personal inquiry into the intersection of the body’s conscious subtleties and the dynamic power of the voice.

Who is this for?

Anyone seeking awareness of, and connection to their body and voice! You do not need to feel particularly embodied or musical to join us. This will be a safe place to explore those relationships with yourself more deeply!

How will we do this?

  • Body awareness explorations

  • Mindfulness practices

  • Vocal and physical improv

  • Somatic & Melodic play

  • Group song & chanting

  • In a safe container that encourages us to see each other as dynamic, vulnerable, multi-dimensional, joyful humans

Workshop also Inclues:

  • Optional Acu-wellness treatments at the end of each session to help you begin the integration process

  • An original workbook which will include songs, thoughtful, intentional journal prompts, movement explorations and more.

  • A one-of-a-kind goody bag with treasures you will use (not junk!) to help care for your body and your voice!

  • Recorded embodiment & mindfulness exercises for you to take home and put into practice

  • And a few more surprises we can’t wait to share!

Total for the series - $400 (includes a $100 non-refundable deposit)

Payment plans are available- please ask.

Space is very limited to facilitate a safe container for everyone!

We anticipate this will be the first workshop of several. If you can’t join us this time, but would like to be notified about future offerings of this nature, please click the button above and let us know!

Who we are:

Jordan & Kalou. Giggle queens, singing partners, neighbors, and the absolute dearest of friends. We both have a passion for working with the inherent gifts of the body, from slightly different backgrounds. We love to play and find the magic in small things.

Jordan has spent over 15 years in the world of professional performing arts, though she’s been singing a song practically all her life. She is most passionate about sharing the gifts of voice & song with people of all ages and backgrounds. In 2022, she was introduced to Structural Integration by Kalou, and retired her collection of high heels in pursuit of feet that can truly connect to the ground. Learning to reclaim her body’s relationship to gravity has also allowed Jordan to find a more grounded connection to her voice. To learn more, check out: www.jordan-gonzalez.com

Kalou has consciously been working with her own embodiment since she was a teen, when she began studying yoga and received her first Structural Integration Ten-Series. She has been professionally working in the field of embodiment & Somatics for over a decade. After Jordan convinced her that their work shared way more intersectionality than not, Kalou started singing lessons and discovered a profound path to joy, reigniting music as a true pillar of personal & collective health.

We promise to be supportive & engaging, present & kind, and most of all, we promise we’ll have fun! We look forward to learning from the wisdom and music in you!
